In D-Day in the Ashes by William W. Johnstone , General Ben Raines and his Rebel army head to Europe to fight for freedom in the old world. As always, General Raines puts his conservative spin on life and general and dealing with the dregs of society. If you believe criminals and people who are abusive by nature should be coddled, this is not the series for you. This is the twentieth book in the Ashes series and I have loved everyone. Read them in order if you can.
