In Talons of Eagles , the third book in the Eagles Series by William W. Johnstone, Jamie Ian MacCallister leads a group of Confederate Marauders in various Civil War battles. MacCallister has decided to fight for the South based on the issue of the federal government staying out of people’s business. Some of his sons are fighting for the North. After the war is over, there are people that cannot let the war end and they try to hunt down MacCallister. I don’t think they counted on the skills of MacCallister and his ability to stay alive while putting down the enemy.
