The Ghost of Goliad is the 286th book in The Gunsmith Series by J. R. Roberts. This one is pretty interesting. Someone claiming to be William Barrett Travis from the Alamo is “running” a ranch and town. He is known as the Ghost of Goliad. Clint Adams has been tasked by Don Carlos to determine if it is really Travis. The old man has the scar in the same spot as the theoretical bullet that killed Travis, but is it the real thing?
