Treasure of Khan is a Dirk Pitt novel by Clive Cussler and Dirk Cussler. In this book, Dirk and his team are researching in Lake Baikal in Siberia when they are hit by a Seiche. What is a Seiche you might say? A Seiche is a tidal wave on fresh water. This one was caused by an underwater landslide. Dirk escapes the wave; however, some of the folks with him disappear. Dirk is determined to find them. His adventures take him to Mongolia where he runs into an evil company, Avarga Oil Consortium, with a wicked plot. In the meantime, there is some interesting tie ins to Genghis Khan and his rule in China.
