Polar Shift by Clive Cussler is a Kurt Austin adventure. In this book a group of anarchists has come up with a method of disrupting the earth’s electromagnetic shield. Based on the principals of a Hungarian scientist, the anarchists have developed devices to pound the earth’s crust with electromagnetic radiation. Their idea is to reverse the polarity of earth; however, they would be unleashing more than they can even imagine. Kurt Austin and his team discover the plot while investigating rogue waves and Kurt and NUMA will use all of their resources to stop the plot and save the world. I am never disappointed by Cussler books. Many times they are a little farfetched; however, they are all good reads.
