Based on the principals of a Hungarian scientist, the anarchists have developed devices to pound the earth’s crust with electromagnetic radiation. Their idea is to reverse the polarity of earth; however, they would be unleashing more than they can even imagine. Kurt Austin and his team discover the plot while investigating rogue waves and Kurt and NUMA will use all of their resources to stop the plot and save the world. I am never disappointed by Cussler books. Many times they are a little farfetched; however, they are all good reads.

The Oregon is a clandestine boat run by a “For Profit Corporation”. But don’t worry, they only make money doing things that governments cannot do, but need to be done. In this one, the Oregon and its team deal with an art theft (Golden Buddha) and in the meantime help the Dali Lama back onto the thrown. In the nature of all Clive Cussler books this one is action packed and an enjoyable read.
