T. Edson.  This book tells the tale of some of Mark Counter’s amazing strength.  However, don’t mistake Counter’s strength with missing intelligence.  Counter knows how to point out a crooked card game or banker and he is not one to allow the innocent to be taken advantage of.  The rest of the Floating Outfit really do not have much of a part in this book.  It is really a Mark Counter book on his own.</p>

Connected ranch’s roaming cowboys.  The three main characters, Dusty Fog, Mark Counter, and The Ysabel Kid, set off around the West troubleshooting.  These books are supposedly loosely based on real history, but I have no idea if that is true.  Either way, each of these books is entertaining.  It is especially interesting because <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/J._T._Edson">J.T. Edson</a> is an Englishman writing about the American West.  Some of these books were written 40 years ago; however, they are still entertaining.</p>
