Johnstone. This one was written by J. A. Johnstone. Reece Van Arndt just can’t get any luck. He is an outlaw so he doesn’t deserve any. Smoke Jensen has put Van Arndt in jail before and now Van Arndt is out and looking to continue his evil ways. Unfortunately for Van Arndt, Smoke always seems to be in his way. After another botched robbery attempt by Van Arndt, he hatches a plan that will surely bring down the wrath of Smoke. Van Arndt kidnaps Sally Jensen, Smoke’s wife, and “violence” is the appropriate word for what Smoke is going to do to Van Arndt.

Johnstone, Jamie Ian MacCallister leads a group of Confederate Marauders in various Civil War battles. MacCallister has decided to fight for the South based on the issue of the federal government staying out of people’s business. Some of his sons are fighting for the North. After the war is over, there are people that cannot let the war end and they try to hunt down MacCallister. I don’t think they counted on the skills of MacCallister and his ability to stay alive while putting down the enemy.
